Try out making videogames using the Unity Game Engine (the same program used to make amazing professional games like Cuphead, Genshin Impact and Among Us). Over 3 days, July 23rd to 25th, you’ll be guided through the basics of making your first level in a 2D platform game. You’ll make a character move, run, jump, collect pick-ups and lose lives, all without having to write any code. All the game assets (graphics, sounds) will be provided for you, but we’ll also look at some of techniques you can use to make your own game assets to customise your game in future. If you’ve already got characters you want to use, we can work with those too! By the end of the sessions, you’ll have a game that you’ll own forever and can continue to work on.
Cost: Early bird price until May 31st 2025 £120, the price will increase to £150 after this.
