Politics is all around you – it’s in the street, in your home, it’s even in the water. This course will help you understand the world around you at a time when it has never been more important to make sense of power, decision-making, and the forces shaping society. Whether it’s climate change, international politics, or the cost of living, politics influences your daily life – and this course will equip you with the tools to think critically, debate ideas, and explore solutions to the biggest challenges of our time.
This course is suitable for those considering a future degree in Politics or related subjects, but also those who just want to know more about the world around them. No prior knowledge is assumed, and the workshop will be fun for anyone who has ever wondered why governments make the decisions they do, why some voices are heard more than others, or how power really works in society. In this short course, you’ll gain new insights into the forces shaping the world today.
Cost: £150
Please note: A minimum number of sign-ups is required for the workshop to go ahead: 10. If there are less than 10 people signed up, the workshop will unfortunately have to be cancelled and the money will be refunded.
